Zoo visitors were delighted to see a 'panda dog' in China.

Holidaymakers were in awe when they spotted the canine, dyed to resemble a panda, at a zoo in Zibo, Shandong, on October 3.

Footage shows the Chow Chow, a dog breed from northern China known for its thick coat, standing still in front of the visitors.

Initially, people were reportedly confused until they read a sign that said: 'I'm not a panda, don't be fooled, I'm a dog.'

Last month, visitors in Shanwei, Guangdong Province, demanded refunds after a supposed panda began panting and barking, revealing its true identity as a dog.
