US, Los Angeles: Riverside Car Crashes Into Utility Pole And Catches Fire
Los Angeles, United States - October 22, 2024 10/22/2024 11:56 pm (GMT-0700) RIVERSIDE, Calif. – On October 22, 2024, at 11:56 p.m., the Riverside City Fire Department and Riverside Police Department responded to a two-car traffic collision in the 2200 block of Main Street. Upon arrival, fire personnel noticed two cars involved in a traffic collision, with one of the cars into a utility pole on fire. At least one of the individuals was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the white car that crashed into the pole was given a Field Sobriety Test and was taken into custody by Riverside police officers. He was assessed at the scene by AMR paramedics. Unconfirmed reports by someone at the scene stated that the white car that crashed into the pole was going 100 mph at the time of the crash.
