Locals swam through the streets of their coastal village that is flooded all year round.

Footage shows the residents taking a dip in the clear water that inundated homes in Bohol, the Philippines on October 8.

The village is on an island in the eastern part of the archipelago where high tides, even in summer, cause seawater to flow into homes.

During high tide, the tiny island, with a little more than 800 residents, is submerged up to waist-deep as seawater reaches the homes. Fish can even be seen swimming through the doors.
