Police rescue owner and pet dogs from house fire in Michigan
Police rescued a resident and his beloved pet dogs from a house fire in Michigan.
Officers from the Sterling Heights Police Department successfully saved the man and his three canines from a rapidly spreading blaze on October 19.
Jesse Ingrum responded to a 911 call around 2:40 pm, reporting smoke billowing from a house. Upon arrival, he found a distressed resident on the ground, bleeding from his head, alongside his four-legged companions as the flames engulfed the kitchen.
Fire department personnel provided medical care to him while other authorities extinguished the flames.
Chief Dale Dwojakowski said: 'Their actions undoubtedly saved a man and his dogs' lives. I'm proud of the officers' heroic efforts and grateful that all involved were able to escape the incident safely.'
