STORYLINE:
Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi said on Wednesday that the management of Chevron-Exxon Egypt will begin drilling an exploratory well in the western Mediterranean.
He explained that Egypt has 57 partners in the exploration and production sector, including eight of the largest international companies.
For his part, the Regional President of BP Egypt (British Petroleum) Nader Zaki said that the current period focuses on the Mediterranean region and the main goal is to increase production.
