Nicolas Hieronimus, CEO of France-based cosmetic giant L'Oreal, recently visited L'Oreal's first self-built intelligent operations center in the Suzhou Industrial Park in east China.

SOUNDBITE (English): NICOLAS HIERONIMUS, CEO of L'Oreal
"We feel that there is a very positive momentum that is starting. And we have a great belief that for L'Oreal, China has a great future and that we will continue to grow together.
We invest in China because we believe in China, because we believe that the growth ahead of us is immense. We see a strong aspiration for beauty and for high-quality products. So we want to continue to invest in China. That's why we have chosen to make several investments. Our Suzhou plant has been there for many years, but now we have expanded it to a new production unit to be even better at manufacturing skin care products. And not far from it, we have also built our most advanced fulfillment center in the world, fully intelligent, very automatized.
And we do this in China, both because we believe in the potential of the market, but also because we see that the conditions to invest in China and the support we're getting from the Shanghai authorities or the Suzhou authorities is creating the right conditions for a foreign company to invest in China."
