On the afternoon of October 13 in Yongkang City, Zhejiang, a man became accidentally stuck upside down while trimming a willow tree, with his foot caught in the branches. Passersby noticed the situation and quickly called for help.

Upon receiving the emergency call, firefighters rushed to the scene. They found a middle-aged man with his left leg trapped in a fork of the tree, hanging upside down about 3 metres (10 feet) above the ground. With no foothold, the man was unable to free himself. He had been stuck for about 10 minutes and was visibly exhausted.

The rescue team promptly secured a safety rope around the man's waist. One firefighter supported the man’s lower body while another used a sturdy tree branch as leverage to pull him up, successfully freeing his trapped leg. After ensuring the man's safety, the team carefully lowered him to the ground, where waiting bystanders assisted in his safe landing. The man was then handed over to on-site medical personnel for examination.

It was later discovered that the man had slipped while trimming tree branches. Fortunately, he sustained no serious injuries.
