Russia: Moment Lorry Driver Narrowly Escapes Death As He Smashes Into Back Of Truck Full Of Sand Stopped On Motorway
Voronezh, Russia - October 14, 2024
This is the moment a lorry driver in Russia narrowly escapes death as his vehicle smashes into the back of a truck full of sand that was stopped in the middle of the motorway.
The accident occurred on the M-4 'Don' motorway in the Ramonsky district of the Voronezh region on 14th October, with local media reports on 19th October saying that "miraculously", no one was injured.
The footage, filmed from a car behind the lorry, shows it smashing into the stopped vehicle with such force that it rips the side of the lorry and some of its cargo clean off. Both the car driver, who managed to avoid the lorry at the last second, and the lorry driver, escaped unharmed. It is believed that the Russian authorities are investigating the incident. It is currently unclear why the sand truck was stopped in the road.
