On October 18, a harrowing traffic incident occurred on a highway in Changsha, Hunan. A white SUV suddenly braked sharply while driving, forcing two cars behind it to take emergency evasive actions.
At the time, Mr. Hu was driving a large truck on the same highway. He recalled that as he noticed the white SUV braking suddenly ahead, a van was already close on his left. Since the white SUV had come to a stop, but the van couldn't halt immediately due to inertia, the van driver had to steer sharply to the right and hit the brakes in an attempt to avoid a collision. This quick maneuver caused the van to spin on the spot, creating a dramatic scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of a BMW behind the van demonstrated remarkable driving skill and reaction time. He quickly assessed the danger and took the correct evasive action, successfully avoiding any friction or collision with the spinning van. The entire sequence of events was captured by the dashcam on Mr. Hu’s truck.
Fortunately, no one was injured, and no vehicles were damaged in this close-call incident.
