Footage shows a landslide crashing onto the road as Tropical Storm Trami battered the Philippines on October 24.

A car can be seen backing away as a flash flood surged down the mountains, blocking a road in Natonin, Mountain Province. The muddy deluge carried large rocks, obstructing the route for locals and rescue personnel trying to reach affected residents.

Trami, known locally as Kristine, intensified into a severe tropical storm as it churned over the Philippine Sea on Wednesday.

Philippine weather agency PAGASA said it made landfall over Isabela province in the country's northeast at 12:30 am on Thursday, October 24.

Authorities report at least 82 fatalities and thousands of people fleeing to evacuation shelters as storm warnings are raised across the northern and central regions of the country.
