Yinchuan, China - October 23, 2024

A playful moment turned perilous for a young boy in Yinchuan, Ningxia, as he became trapped while playing in a hotel’s revolving door. While dining with his family, the boy slipped away to explore, only to get his ankle wedged in the narrow gap of the door frame.

Despite his parents’ desperate attempts to free him, their efforts were in vain, and the friction caused slight redness and swelling on his leg. In a panic, they called for help.

Firefighters from the Yinchuan Fire Department arrived promptly, using hydraulic expanding pliers to gently widen the gap and safely extract the boy’s foot. Thankfully, the rescue was successful, and he emerged without serious injuries.
