Pensacola, United States - October 24, 2024

Four astronauts from SpaceX’s Crew-8 mission made a successful splashdown on Friday, concluding their six-month stay aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The crew, consisting of NASA astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, and Jeanette Epps, along with Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin, contributed significantly to scientific research during their time in microgravity. They conducted numerous experiments and performed essential maintenance tasks, advancing ongoing studies in this unique environment.

The splashdown marks a successful return for the Crew-8 team, who launched in March 2024, as they transition back to life on Earth after their remarkable journey in space.
