US, Los Angeles: Hesperia 1 Killed After Colliding With Freeway Sign Pole
Los Angeles, United States - October 26, 2024
10/26/2024 09:58 am (GMT-0700) | HESPERIA, Calif – On Saturday, October 26th, 2024, shortly before 10 a.m., a single-vehicle traffic collision was reported on I-15 north just south of the Main Street off-ramp.
The vehicle had reportedly struck the Main Street exit sign at a high rate of speed. Officers with the California Highway Patrol arrived on the scene and located a wrecked vehicle along with the lone occupant suffering from major injuries.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department arrived at the scene and pronounced the driver of the vehicle deceased. Mariposa Road was closed in both directions, along with two lanes of the northbound I-15.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
