Tame woodland pheasants
I know pheasants are normally considered food, but this couple have become tame, taking the seed spilled when I top up the feeder we leave there for the small birds to use. I'm pretty sure the female is the same one that became tame last winter and has survived through to this winter, as she was straight over to the bird feeder the first time I filled it this autumn, having left it empty over the summer. They're not quite pets, but I don't think I'll be eating them anyway :-)
