This is the heroic moment Chinese firefighters rescued a boy whose foot was stuck in a revolving hotel door.

While dining with his family, the boy slipped away to explore and became trapped in the glass door, with his ankle wedged in the narrow gap in Yinchuan, Ningxia, China, on October 20.

Firefighters from the Yinchuan Fire Department quickly arrived. They used hydraulic pliers to widen the gap and safely free the boy's foot.

Authorities said the child was not seriously injured.

Rescuers cautioned that although revolving doors in shopping malls and hotels may appear to move slowly, they can be extremely dangerous for children. Parents are advised to always supervise their kids in these areas.
