Cote d'Ivoire held the 8th International Women's Art Festival in the coastal city of Grand-Bassam from Wednesday to Saturday.

SOUNDBITE 1 (French): DJANGUENANNE DAMIGOU, Togolese artist
"After participating in this art festival, we will go back to enrich ourselves and digest everything we have learned from various art fields. I believe that in the days to come, we will become stronger, continue to increase the output of works, and go further on the road of art."

SOUNDBITE 2 (French): RDIANA BAH, Senegalese artist
"I participated in the music category of this festival, I often go to the live. Our performance was in the form of a live band. We are proud to represent Senegal and support women's leadership and environmental protection.
I must say that this event was full of learning and sharing of experiences, and I will return to Senegal with more knowledge and the desire to move forward. For me, this is very important. This is the beginning of inspiring the young girls behind us."

SOUNDBITE 3 (French): BELLO ELISABETH OSEINI, Director of Cote d'Ivoire International Women's Art Festival
"This festival is to help women. Even though there is not much funding, I put my faith, energy and money into it. No matter how much it costs, this festival will continue to exist."
