US, Los Angeles: Ontario AMR Ambulance Driver Fell Asleep Behind Wheel and Crashes While Transporting Patient
Los Angeles, United States - October 28, 2024
10/28/2024 01:15 am (GMT-0700) | ONTARIO, Calif. – An American Medical Response (AMR) ambulance driver, who fell asleep behind the wheel, crashed on the off-ramp and into a tree and light pole from the westbound 60 Freeway at Vineyard Avenue in the city of Ontario.
The AMR ambulance was transporting one patient to Kaiser Hospital at 2295 S. Vineyard Ave. when it crashed. The patient was placed into a second AMR ambulance, which continued the transport to the hospital.
At this time, it is unknown if the driver and passenger of the AMR ambulance were injured.
