This is the hilarious moment parents and children pushed huge balls during a school sports day.

A father had a clever idea to win the push-ball race at the kindergarten event in Gansu, China, on September 28.

Footage shows the man holding onto the back of his son's shirt while waiting for the start signal. He then lifted the child with one hand while pushing the red ball, keeping the boy from toppling over or falling behind.

Onlookers couldn't help but laugh at his strategy, which led to their win.

Ms Wang, the filmer, said: 'Parents participated in small games with their kids to strengthen the bond. The child had a bit of a cold and was on a drip. He told his parents he wanted to win a gold medal, so they did everything they could to help him fulfil this small wish.'
