US, Los Angeles: La Verne Diamond Bar Murder Suspect Taken Into Custody After SWAT Standoff

10/28/2024 09:00 pm (GMT-0700) | LA VERNE, Calif. – CHP detectives from the Baldwin Park Station and La Verne SWAT took a possible murder suspect into custody that is related to the fatal shooting that happened in the city of Diamond Bar off of Pathfinder Road and 57 the Freeway.
The suspect allegedly shot and killed a person in a gray Dodge in a Park ƒ Ride parking lot near Pathfinder Road and the 57 Freeway early Monday morning around 6 a.m. The officer took the suspect into custody at a home in the city of La Verne in the 2600 block of Second Street around 9:00 p.m. SWAT officers deployed flash bangs. Officers evacuated nearby residences due to the circumstances.
