A schoolgirl wore an awesome headless ghost Halloween costume while trick-or-treating with friends in the neighbourhood.

Footage shows the youngster wearing a white dress with her head poking out of the tummy area, creating the illusion she had been decapitated.

Her dress was padded around the neck and shoulders so it was stiff and had fake blood dripping onto the white fabric.

The kid's hands were also concealed inside the dress, but fake cushion arms were sewn to make it look like she was carrying her head.

To top off the look, her mother had added makeup to give the appearance of death.

She roamed around the streets with other children, and the adults were happy to put treats in the hole in the top of her dress in Cavite, the Philippines, on October 26.

Theo Balagso, a neighbour who was enthralled by the clever dress, said: 'All the kids participated and she stood out. Everyone brought home so many candies.'
