Trick-or-treater parades in Filipino mythical creature of half-man half-horse costume
A trick-or-treater paraded his half-human, half-horse Filipino mythical creature for Halloween.
Footage shows the resident Edwin Ocampo with his body painted black while pulling behind him an equine's rear in Las Pinas City, the Philippines, on October 27.
He was shirtless with ruffled hair and dark make-up to depict the creature from folklore called Tikbalang.
His neighbour Chelsa Calesterio said: 'Our homeowners association organised the event for Halloween. He also became a local sensation last year when he joined the parade as a corpse in a casket.'
A Tikbalang is a mythical creature from Philippine folklore often depicted as a half-man, half-horse being. It has a man's body but a horse's head and limbs, making it one of the most distinctive figures in Filipino mythology.
