Footage shows the rider and his friend navigating the busy market, with locals walking along the street and preparations underway for a major ceremony scheduled for November 1.

The man said: 'We just like to stroll down the town. There will be a big ceremony next month.'

Tawur Agung Kesanga is a sacred ceremony held annually as part of the celebration of Nyepi, Bali's 'Day of Silence', which will run from November 1 to November 24.

This ceremony happens once every 20 years and includes a series of rituals aimed at cleansing the island of negative energies, particularly in preparation for the Balinese New Year, Nyepi.
