This is the nail-biting moment a woman climbs a building wall in her slippers to reach her fifth-floor apartment after accidentally locking herself out.

Shocked onlookers from the street filmed as the woman scaled the pipes of the outer wall of a building in Longhua District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong, China, on October 23.

She reportedly forgot her keys inside before leaving her home and was unable to get back in.

Reports said she visited a locksmith but found the service too expensive, so she attempted to climb from the first to the fifth floor to access her apartment.

Her daring move resulted in her getting stuck partway up, prompting firefighters to be called for a rescue. She was safely brought back to the ground.
