Residents of the Bibby Stockholm immigration barge are being moved out in small groups by the Home Office to places all around the UK.

Today refugees carrying bags were clearly seen leaving to be taken to waiting transport (out of sight) and then moved to their new locations.

These refugees were filmed saying goodbye to fellow residents and staff and even taking selfies to record this important day in their lives.

The Bibby is thought to have around 120 residents on board and as they receive Home Office clearance they are being moved out of Dorset to places in the midlands and North of England. At one stage there were over 400 refugees on the barge.

The barge will be empty by the end of November according to the Labour Government and the contract is due to end in January.
