Peru: CMG launches premium program exhibition in Peru
Lima, Peru - October 30, 2024 A premium program exhibition organized by China Media Group (CMG) and mainstream Peruvian media outlets was officially launched in Lima, capital of Peru, on Wednesday. The event features over 20 Spanish-language CMG productions, including documentaries like "A Road to Prosperity" and "China: Race to the Future," variety show "Bravo Youngsters" and hit dramas. They will be broadcast across major Peruvian media platforms, including the National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru (IRTP), the La Republica newspaper's new media outlet and Panamericana Television. The programs will show the vibrant energy of contemporary China and the promising vision of cooperation between the two countries. Gustavo Adrianzen, prime minister of Peru, expressed his delight via video, highlighting that the rich array of Chinese film and television offerings will enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and Peru. He wished the exhibition great success. The "Journey Through Civilizations: An Encounter with Liangzhu" 2024 World Tour also opened to Peruvians on the same day. The event features exquisite jade artifacts and cultural products, allowing Peruvian audiences to experience the 5,000-year history of China's Liangzhu culture. Prominent figures from Peru's political and media circles, including the executive president of IRTP and board members of La Republica newspaper, attended the event.
