A wild boar smashed through a glass window to escape in China.

The frantic hog was spotted wandering inside the lobby area of a railway station in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China, on August 12.

Footage shows firefighters using benches as makeshift barricades to corner the animal.

They can be seen chasing it down the hallway to contain it.

Officials attempted to capture the boar using pole snares, but it broke free and dashed towards a wall covered in grass. It broke through the wall, nearly hitting a girl standing in the corridor.

The rescuers eventually drove the boar back to the forest.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

According to a staff member, there were two wild boars in the station. The larger one escaped on its own, while the other remained inside prompting the authorities to take action to prevent the animal from hurting passengers.
