A car slammed into a bus and caused a multi-vehicle pileup crash amid blinding sunlight.

Footage shows a Geely sedan clipping the rear end of a vehicle in Minsk, Belarus, on October 29.

The impact sent it slipping sideways, blocking the road for another driver from a SEAT car that was pinched between its rear and the pavement.

The SEAT driver told police he did not notice the vehicles in front because of the bright sunlight hitting his windscreen, as seen from his dashcam recording.

The crash triggered heavy traffic jams in the area, and both drivers were taken to the hospital.

Traffic authorities later reminded all drivers to turn on hazard lights, slow down, and stop if they encounter blinding sunlight.
