Footage shows the crustacean refusing to let go of the skin on the back of the cook's hand at a restaurant in Shanghai, China.
His friends tried to pry open the pincers with a chopstick, but the animal would not budge and kept its grip. They eventually freed themself from the sea creature's hold - rewarding it by putting him back into the water tank.
