Halloween toddler terrifies onlookers with headless boy costume
This trick-or-treating toddler terrified residents with a Halloween costume giving the appearance he was carrying a decapitated head.
The three-year-old boy wore the gruesome outfit during the annual celebration in Manila, the Philippines, on October 31.
Filmer Pinky Rose Anzano said: 'He decided on the costume himself and I helped to make it with him.'
Halloween originated some 2000 years ago from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, a celebration marking the end of harvest and the start of winter when it was believed that spirits could cross into the living world.
The tradition evolved as Christianity spread, merging with All Saints' Day on November 1. By the 19th century, Halloween became widely celebrated in America, blending various cultural customs.
