Southwest China's Chengdu City is stepping up efforts to become a hub for scientific and technological innovation.
To support this goal, the city has established a sci-tech innovation eco-island in the Tianfu New Area, which serves as a platform for talent and enterprise exchange.
The eco-island connects 35 major innovation platforms and 27 national-level research institutions in China.
It has also integrated over 100 science and technology service providers to offer more than 100 services in technology finance and transfer.
Over the past year, more than 470 scientific and technological achievements have been released on the eco-island.
