STORYLINE:
The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to Nov. 10.
Frequent participants have praised the expo for fostering business opportunities, as it serves as an important platform for them to showcase products and enhance trade with China.

"I have attended the expo four times. In 2020, I came to Shanghai from Nepal specifically to participate in the CIIE. After my first time attending the expo, I decided to stay in Shanghai and opened a store here. Each year at the expo, our sales improve, with results getting better every time. Every year, I learn new ideas and discover new products."

"The first time we participated in the CIIE, we only brought handmade wool carpets.
This year marks our fifth time at the expo, and our biggest gain has been the growing presence of Afghan goods in China. Through this platform, we've not only enhanced trade between Afghanistan and China, but also created job opportunities for many Afghan people, providing them with a new source of income."

"This is our seventh time. We have about 30 more companies that they are attending the CIIE from our country, from Iran, in different fields and activities such as petrochemical, into nanotechnology and science. We hope that during the seven (six) days of exhibition, we can open up more sales channels in China."
The seventh CIIE has attracted participants from 152 countries, regions and international organizations, and achieved a new record with 297 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders set to attend.
