Their WORST NIGHTMARE Has Just Started...

In 6 games to start the season Russell Westbrook is shooting 13 for 56 from the field.
An astonishing 23.2%. This is the third worst field goal percentage in the entire league on higher volume. And by all means, he holds a huge responsibility for Denverâs bad opening.
3 and 3 record that could have easily been 1 and 5 if Jokic didnât save the Nuggets forcing overtime against bad teams mind you.
Thing is, as bad as Russell has shot the ball, thereâs a guy even worse on this team.
Itâs hard to believe but Peyton Watson has the second worst field goal percentage at 8 for 35 and only 22.9%
So basically when the Nuggets bench unit comes in, teams are chillin on defense.
When JokiÄ is off the floor Denver is scoring just 72 points on 97 possessions so far.
Thatâs an offensive rating of 74.2 points per 100 possessions, which would rank by far the last in the league. To put it simply, if Jokic is not playing, this is a G-League offense, and thereâs no way that Denver can be a contender with things looking like this.
And things are looking even more frightening for Milwaukee whoâre having the worst start in the last 25 years.
The Bucks are dead last in the east at 1-5, the same score they had in the 2000/2001 season with Ray Allen, Sam Cassell and Glen Big Dog Robinson. But Milwaukee fans would gladly hope that history repeats itself as the Bucks made it all the way to game 7 in the conference finals in that legendary showdown against Allen Iverson and the Sixers.
And on the topic of three point shooting, the Dallas Mavericks hold a hilarious statistical anomaly.
Through the first 7 games, the Mavs are at the top, number one in the league when shooting from the right corner. But they rank at the bottom of the league on shots from the left corner three.
With Klay and Kyrie for example, theyâre a combined 2 for 10 from the left side, and 7 for 8 from the right, so take that for data.
As crazy as that is, this is even more shocking.
Out of 86 field goal attempts, this miss by Ja Morant is his only dunk attempt so far this season.
Yeah, the guy that did this on a nightly basis, is not really going up that much.
Make no mistake, the athleticism is still there, and Ja is still doing some insane stuff on the court, but I feel like heâs getting a bit wiser with his decisions and preserves his body as much as possible for the long season.
This is just the beginning and thereâs still a lot to play, but Norman Powell is using the extra opportunity heâs getting now without PG and Kawhi, and heâs lighting it up at the start.
In 6 games, Powell is averaging 25 points on 52% from the field, 41 from downtown and 85% from the foul line. A damn near 50/40/90 opening for him. The Clippers may not be good this season, but he definitely has been so far.
And the same goes for Brandon Ingram, who infamously had no trade value this offseason.
Well BI is actually shooting 50/40/90 at the beginning while dropping 24 points, 6 and a half rebounds and 4 assists per game.
A great comeback so far for Ingram but nowhere near as shocking as Lamelo Ball whoâs
currently averaging 30 points per game, the 4th highest scorer in the league at the moment.
If Ball can maintain this, that would be a 6 point jump from nearly 24 last year to more than 30 now.
And if the Celtics maintain their 3 point shooting, theyâll join Mike DâAntoniâs Rockets as the only 2 teams to have shot more three point shots than 2 pointers.
Boston is firing away a mind blowing 50 threes per game, which is 9 more than what theyâre attempting from inside the line. At 6-1 record, it seems that so far the math checks out for them, and theyâll definitely keep doing it.
At 3-3 however, the Spurs could be even better if Wembanyama takes more of his shots in the paint.
Heâs taken only 29 of his 79 field goal attempts inside the painted area.
65% efficiency on paint attempts / 23.5% on threes
At 65% in the paint, thatâs more than an efficient shot for him, so the more he takes them, the more points.
Wemby is the second tallest player in the league, so thereâs no reason why he should rank 65th in paint attempts. Victor is shooting 8 for 34 from downtown so itâs not like heâs a three point sniper, no need for him to jack up threes in my opinion.
There have been some wild stats so far this season, and the NBA has been out of control at the start. No better example of that was this video, where things really exploded. You gotta check out exactly what took place right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.
