These efforts come amid growing calls for federal assistance as the president of the Valencian Community, Carlos Mazón, has requested an extensive aid package of 136 measures, valued at over 31 million euros, to address the aftermath of recent flooding. This includes a request for additional support of 15,000 euros for affected families on top of previously agreed aid.
