This is the full-throttle moment a woman loses control of her scooter while walking it down the road, and it drags her through a store window.

CCTV footage from a hairdresser's salon in Mianyang, Sichuan province, southwest China, shows the woman rolling the scooter along the street on November 1.

She then turned on the engine to make it easier to move.

But as she continued pushing the bike, she slipped and gave it too much throttle, tearing it up the pavement and crashing straight through the salon window.

Instead of letting go, she clung to the handlebars and was dragged off her feet through the shattered window.

One cool-headed customer waiting for a trim barely looks up from his phone as the bike roars in but quietly leaves while passers-by rush to help the rider.

Incredibly, the hairdresser remains completely unruffled by the crash. Just minutes later, his salon is packed with customers who seem unfazed by the broken glass.
