On October 30, in Lhasa, Tibet, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl was eating an orange when she accidentally got orange pith stuck in her throat. Her face turned bright red, and she struggled to breathe, eventually collapsing to the ground and nearly suffocating.

Fortunately, her father was nearby and quickly responded by using the Heimlich maneuver to save her. He applied pressure to her abdomen, helping the child expel the orange pith from her throat, and her breathing gradually returned to normal.

Later, the child's mother, Ms. Wang, said she was not in the store at the time and was relieved that other customers noticed quickly. Watching the surveillance footage gave her a scare, and her husband was left with shaky legs afterward. Thankfully, their daughter was unharmed.
