Footage shows the man carefully replacing the tip of his billiard cue by cutting off the old blue leather in Liaoning, China, on August 12.
He then scraped off the excess tip using a machine, cleaned the cue head, applied glue to attach a new cue tip, and shaped it to the appropriate size with sandpaper and various cutters.
Lastly, he polished the wood for a smooth finish.
Cue tip maintenance is important because the tip is the point of contact between the cue and the cue ball, affecting the accuracy, spin, and control of shots. A worn-down cue tip can negatively impact a player's performance.
