Snow blanketed Colorado as winter arrived.

Footage captured by local journalist Tom Mustin shows thick sheets of ice covering the ground on Wednesday, November 6.

A powerful winter storm continues to impact the region, bringing heavy snowfall and strong winds, accumulating up to 3ft of snow.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning, effective throughout Thursday, with snow expected to fall intermittently.

Forecasts predict an additional 1 to 3ft of snow in some areas. Winds will blow from the north at 10 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph, creating challenging road conditions.

Residents are advised to stay prepared and exercise caution as the storm progresses.
