São Paulo, Brazil - November 06, 2024 A showcase of well-selected programs from China Media Group (CMG), China's state broadcaster, has been launched earlier this month in Sao Paulo, Brazil, ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's upcoming travel to Rio de Janeiro to attend the 19th G20 Summit and a state visit to Brazil. More than 20 of CMG's high-quality films and series including "Encounters with Xi Jinping" and "A Road to Prosperity" will be broadcast simultaneously on more than 10 local mainstream media including Box Brazil, Band and CB Media. Shen Haixiong, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and CMG president, delivered video address. Yu Peng, Consul General of China in Sao Paulo, Caio Luiz de Carvalho, president of Band institute and communications director of Band, Jose Wilson Fonseca, executive vice president of Box Brazil, and Claudia Dreyer, head of international cooperation and expansion of Box Brazil, attended the event and delivered speeches.
