The awarding ceremony of the "China Through My Eyes" art competition was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Thursday. A total of 48 Sri Lankan primary and secondary students received awards across categories including essay writing, calligraphy, paper cutting, and painting.
The competition was one of many events held as part of the "Chinese Culture Meets Students in Sri Lanka" series.

"China is (one of) the biggest countries in the world and it has many different works of art, and there are many different cultures. I'm really happy because there are so many students (that) participate in this competition, so in the first place it's a very wonderful feeling for me."
