After stepping away briefly, Maranda returned to a drink from a random man who bought it for her. Noticing "particles" in the drink when the man left for the restroom, she requested the bartender remake it due to concerns over possible spiking. The bartender declined, saying he wouldn’t "waste more liquor," suggesting another woman’s drink also had particles.

Standing firm, Randa refused the drink and offered it back. With over 10 million views, viewers are outraged, commenting on the lack of safety and professionalism shown.

My friend and I went to 9Nine kitchen and Lounge in Dallas. We were hanging out at the bar area for a bit then decided to go to the restroom. When we came back to the bar, a man had bought me a drink then he went to the restroom. I looked in my drink and saw unknown particles, and since I did not see the drink being made, i called the bartender over and I asked the bartender to remake the drink due to the particles In the drink and possibility of date rape. The bartender told me to look in the girls drink on the other side of my friend (implying her drink had the substance in it too) I responded okay, but I didn’t not see it. He responded “I’m not wasting more liquor.” I said okay, well I’m not drinking the drink, you can take it.
