This is the amusing moment a toy fan did a test drive on a Scalextric track made from cardboard.

The skilled petrolhead built the circuit in his living room in Guangdong, China.

Footage shows him placing a purple toy car onto the track, before accelerating and looping around continuously.

He even shared a detailed tutorial and design plans for making a similar cardboard track on his social media.

A Scalextric track is a slot racing track where miniature cars race against each other on a special track. The cars get their power from a slot in the middle of each lane, and the driver controls the car's speed with a trigger handset.
