An escaped cow wandered into a classroom and disrupted lessons.

The calf was feeding on grass in a nearby field when it barged into a garden and entered one of the rooms in Kanchanaburi, Thailand on November 6.

Footage shows the juvenile brown bovine walking between desks and chairs while the youngsters were being rushed out by their teachers.

It searched around the tables, pushing furniture out of its way before walking it when it could not find anything to eat.

The calf left on its own and headed towards the grassy school field where it continued to eat.

A teacher said: 'We do not know who owns the cow but it could be a villager living near our school.'

No one was hurt and the cow left the property later.
