The rally, organized under the slogan "For a Life Without Fear: Protect Jewish Life, Enough is Enough," highlighted a surge in antisemitic incidents across Europe, including Germany and the Netherlands, where Jewish institutions and individuals have increasingly been targeted. The protest took place on the 86th anniversary of Kristallnacht, a night of violent antisemitic attacks that foreshadowed the Holocaust, underscoring demonstrators' concerns that Germany was not doing enough to ensure the safety of its Jewish population.
