A tourist dropped into a boxing stance as he taunted a local to fight during a road rage incident in Indonesia.

The holidaymaker standing 6ft (1.8 metres) tall, was furious when a sedan driver allegedly clipped his motorbike during evening rush hour in Bali on October 25.

However, the car owner argued with him claiming that the foreigner was the one who had rear-ended the white vehicle.

Footage shows the tourist contending with the local. Tensions escalated, and he was later seen making a jumping boxing stance, seemingly asking the local to just square it up with him.

He also removed his shirt and said to the driver repeatedly: 'You want to fight?'

Onlookers intervened and called police to investigate.

Witness Rizky said: 'The car made a sharp left turn and clipped the motorcycle. The tourist fell over.'

However, the locals added that the tourists trying to provoke a fight was unjustified.

It is the latest incident involving misbehaving tourists - many of them from Australia - on the bustling holiday island.

Officials have even taken steps to reign in the chaos following complaints from police and residents about tourists disrespecting the culture, violating traffic rules, committing crimes and behaving badly in public.
