Shuttle bus hits plane's wing tip at Hong Kong airport
A shuttle bus collided with a plane's wing tip at Hong Kong airport.
The yellow passenger vehicle accidentally scraped the Shandong Airlines Boeing 737 Max while it was preparing for take-off on November 10.
Footage captured by Jiang Feng shows the bus manoeuvring on the tarmac when the roof of the vehicle struck the aircraft's wing, causing it to move and resulting in a delayed flight.
Airport staff said that flight SC1152, heading to Jinan, China, was delayed by four hours as authorities had to change the aircraft. The plane, registered B-224R, was taken for repairs.
The Airport Authority confirmed the incident. They said the collision happened after all the passengers had disembarked and no one was injured.
