Indian politician and locals rescued a woman trapped under a truck in India.

Footage shows the injured woman, Divyasr, pinned underneath a vehicle in Huzurabad, Telangana, on Monday, November 11.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar came to help, along with police and other residents.

Huzurabad Assistant Commissioner of Police reported that a woman riding pillion on a motorcycle fell off when it grazed past a truck.

The mishap happened when the truck was heading towards Huzurabad from Karimnagar.

Sanjay, who was visiting the Huzurabad mandal, crossed the spot in the other direction and stopped his convoy.

Divyasr suffered minor injuries and was taken to a private hospital.

The minister reportedly offered to cover the medical expenses.
