"I was watching television and saw my living room on a show"
A woman watching television at home was left in shock when she saw her living room on TV.
Stephanie D'Agostini, 29, was watching "Couples Therapy" from the Showtime network last weekend (Nov 10)."
The reality TV show follows couples in a 20-week therapy program with Dr. Orna Guralnik.
As she scrolled on her phone, Stephanie looked up and noticed items that were similar to hers such as her fridge and a sticker on her electric box.
As she continued to watch, it quickly became apparent that Stephanie was watching a couple who had previously lived in her apartment.
She was later proven right when a producer from the show messaged her confirming that the couple had lived in the building and likely her exact unit.
Stephanie, a stand up comedian based in New York City, said: "As soon as I noticed the similarities, I was in shock for a moment and had so many questions."
"I randomly looked up and thought 'that's weird that looks like my fridge'"
"I took out my camera to take a video thinking that they shot it in my building, which was already weird. "
"And then as I was recording I noticed they had the same sticker on their break box that I have."
"I've since had a producer from the show message me and confirm that it was in fact my building, so highly likely that it was my unit as well."
