India: Two people died in fire after explosion at IOCL refinery in Vadodara
Vadodara, India - November 12, 2024 A fire broke out after an explosion in a storage tank at the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) refinery in Vadodara, Gujarat on Monday. The police have given information about the incident. They said that two people have died in this accident. Reacting to the incident, IOCL said that a fire was reported in a storage tank around 3.30 pm. An official said that a fire broke out in a benzene storage tank at the refinery on Monday afternoon with an explosion, which later spread to two other tanks nearby. And the fire was brought under control on Tuesday.
