Toddler is the picture of devotion singing The Lord’s Prayer
A toddler sang The Lord's Prayer during mass - with his arms raised and eyes closed.
Footage shows three-year-old Gavin Corfel de Rama displaying devotion as he vocalised the lyrics during the Catholic event in Tarlac, the Philippines, on November 10.
Gavin was held in the arms of his father, who was also praying at the time.
His mother Rose Ann said: 'We always attend mass at the supermarket because he wants to see his favourite priest.
'I told him to close his eyes whenever he sings so he will not be shy when others notice him singing. Our son is having fun going to church. It is his happy place, and he loves singing with the choir.'
Catholicism was introduced to the Philippines by Spanish missionaries in the 16th century and quickly became the country's dominant religion.
Over the centuries, Catholicism has become deeply ingrained in Filipino culture and society. Today, many Filipinos identify as Catholic not only because of their religious beliefs but also because of their cultural heritage.
The Lord's Prayer, also known as the Our Father, is one of the most well-known prayers in Christianity and is often recited in Christian worship services.
