A clingy pet follows his owner everywhere - even sitting on his shoulder at work.

The five-year-old sun conure named Sun always goes with Wanna to his job on building sites in Samut Sakhon, Thailand.

Sun even gets along well with the other men and will chirp with them and follow them around.

Footage shows Sun sitting on his owner's head, shoulders, and back. He joins him while working, riding a motorcycle, or simply hanging out with friends.

Pet owner Wanna said: 'My bird is very smart and loyal. He goes everywhere with me. He loves being sociable.'

Sun conures, also known as sun parakeets, are small, vibrant parrots native to northeastern South America.

They are renowned for their stunning colouration, featuring a mix of bright yellow, orange, and green, and touches of blue on the wings and tail feathers.
